The splash landing of hampered duck,
The mucky muck of wasteful beings
Environmental sludge
Wildlife
The seasons, slowed, less themselves
The curl of smoke
Holes in layers grown
The blanket shrinking
Stakes higher than mountains,
O-Zone volatility
Temperamental Earth, an extension
Of shiftiness in man
Kind is their touch,
Never is enough ever enough,
To see the end in our sight lines,
As this sphere will surely fade into darkness,
The nights of others,
No wonder.
